St.Andrews Parish Church,HINGHAM,

There is a report that the Parish Church of St Andrew in the Parish of Hingham in Norfolk UK is attempting to erect a mobile telephone mast atop its Tower. Is nothing sacred anymore? This eminent Church Tower is located in a Conservation Area , and there is no excuse that God or Mannon should so destroy its Architectural symmetry in the way now proposed.

This South Norfolk Village that gave America, The Great Abraham Lincoln, and in more recent times accommodated our own warrior Lord Ironside, is a thriving Community. All may recognise the necessity for the erection of telephone masts, but there is absolutely no need for any Church to indulge itself in cheap jack enterprises reminiscent of selling its soul for a metaphorical Mess of Pottage.

One really needs to drive the money lenders from the temple.
